American Dad on Fox

In the May 11th episode of American Dad (9:30 p.m. ET), titled “Stanny Slickers 2: The Legend of Ollie’s Gold,” overzealous CIA Agent Stan Smith gets into a car accident and is mistakenly presumed dead by his superiors. With a new surplus of vacation time, Stan wants to fulfill a lifelong dream of leaving a legacy to the world like the country’s forefathers Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln. Somehow “legacy” translates to Stan searching for Oliver North’s gold, supposedly buried in Stan’s front yard.

Meanwhile, Stan’s extra-terrestrial houseguest Roger watches a news story about a corporation’s large sexual harassment settlement. Desiring to be harassed himself so that he can sue the company, Roger gets a job and dresses as a large-breasted blonde bimbo, Laura Van Der Booben, who struts the office hallway to the tune of 2 Live Crew’s “Me So Horny.” The same 2 Live Crew who were once at the center of an early ‘90s Florida obscenity trial now provide the soundtrack for prime-time television.

When “Laura’s” gyrations fail to elicit responses from male co-workers, Roger wiggles his fake breasts in a co-worker’s face and later positions a donut box between his legs, asking a shocked co-worker if he is “looking for something glazed and bad for you.”

For its graphic sexual content, American Dad deserves the title Worst TV Show of the Week.
